The term “Cloud” seems like it is everywhere these days. Cloud backup, cloud PC, even Cloud assistants.
Gone are the days where “Cloud” meant multitenant geographically separate always-on service. Today important concepts like retaining Intellectual Property (IP), country of origin, distribution restrictions, and data-at-rest protection all must be considered when evaluating a cloud strategy for any business process or service. Over the years we have deployed dozens of private clouds, public clouds, and hybrid clouds for small to medium businesses in the Charlotte, NC region. We’ve deployed them using VMWare, Citrix, and everything in between.
We’ve deployed complex data storage systems to handle multi-tenant cloud workloads and simple NAS/SAN storage systems for small private clouds. Well, the confusion we have heard from our clients around cloud has reached a fever pitch and we’re doing something about it! We have launched an education campaign to help our clients and the general business public better understand ‘The Cloud’ and the myriad of services that it contains. We are covering the benefits, pitfalls, and things to watch out for in a multi-session summer workshop series titled “Simplifying the Cloud”.
It’s summer and storm season! Come check out the event and learn how you can avoid the thunderstorms and rain in “The Cloud”
