November 2023 - ChannelPro Defend: SMB Cybersecurity Strategies for IT Solution Providers

Over the past several years, the priority to secure the nation's Small Businesses has been discussed at the highest levels of government. Though, no widely effective solutions have been identified, the awareness of the urgency remained. NIST, DHS (via CISA), and MITRE are all aggressively working on SMB-focused initiatives. In 2021, the opportunity for these initiatives to coalesce became a reality, under the CISA Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). CISA JCDC is a “whole nation approach” that’s bringing together the ecosystem that MSPs rely on every day with U.S. Government (USG) and other private industry stakeholders to systemically address areas of vulnerability - especially focused on the Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) toolset.
