What Level Are You?

The CMMC model is a way of assessing businesses ability to protect controlled unclassified information (CUI) and FCI by way of the NIST 800-171 framework. Depending on your contract, you may have to comply with any of the 3 levels that make up the CMMC model.

The final CMMC 2.0 rule is here The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification has been officially published into the federal register as a final rule on October 15th. With its finalization contractors should be DFARS compliant and have had a passing SPRS score. Therefore, you're not starting from ground zero, you are validating the controls you already have in place.
